HOW IT WORKS

To open an account and become a member with Designers' Choice, you will need to provide the following information:

- Company Name

- Business Address

- Telephone Number

- Fax Number

- Email Address

If you have a State Sales Tax Certificate, please provide a copy. Otherwise, Designers' Choice will collect tax on the sale.

When placing an order, please note the following:

- All orders must be placed in writing.

- A 50% deposit is required to place an order into production. This can be paid using a credit card or check.

- The remaining balance, along with the freight cost, will be due upon the arrival of the goods.

- If you are an out-of-state designer or shipping out of state, a 75% deposit with a credit card is required. Designers' Choice will charge your credit card for the remaining balance and freight once the order ships for out-of-state shipments.

- For fabrics, wallpaper, and window blinds being shipped elsewhere, a 100% prepayment is required.

Please note that all orders placed with Designers' Choice are considered special orders and cannot be cancelled once placed. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on ALL special orders.

Regarding delivery and post-delivery:

- Designers' Choice works with various freight and delivery companies. They can provide freight estimates and information upon request.

- The buyer is responsible for all freight and delivery costs.

- Once the order leaves the manufacturer, it becomes the property of the buyer.

- It is recommended that all products be signed for as "subject to inspection" once they arrive anywhere other than Designers' Choice's receiving warehouse. Signing for the shipment legally transfers the product to the buyer, regardless of its condition or any missing items. Most products are shipped to a receiving warehouse.

If there are any issues with the products, Designers' Choice will do its best to help resolve them. The usual first step in the resolution process is to provide digital images, including a "full body" picture, a picture of the packaging, and pictures of the damage. These images can be used with the freight company and the manufacturer to establish responsibility. Please note that this is a time-sensitive process, not contingent on final delivery.

Designers are welcome to take small manageable items off the showroom floor for approval in their clients' homes. In such cases, Designers' Choice will require a credit card number that will be held and charged if the items are not returned within 5 days.
